事奉人员研讨会

今天早上，一群事奉人员聚集在世纪花园卫理公会，一同在事奉上、教会的方向上、以及行动上去探讨与交流。

感谢主的带领，让教会的弟兄姐妹们看见并愿意站起来成为解决问题之人。

希望今次的研讨会所提醒及所激起的各样事项与热情能在你我愿意付出下去完成。更希望的是，竭力去追求与神能有美好的关系。因为，一切的事奉与服事要从认识神开始。

活动时间上的更动

因为近期有些事工有了些变化，因此时间上有了些更动。大家要注意下哦。。

原本定于9月12日的《在基督里的自由》延迟举行了。因为那一天正好是牧区会议。新的时间是10月10日。

另外，就是大型聚会的更动。原本定于9月19日的大型聚会将提早到9月12日进行。

而9月19日那一天多加了一个聚会，就是《认识后现代思考与其影响》。

备注：非常鼓励大家参加《认识后现代思考与其影响》的聚会，这可以让你我知道外面世界的变化与我们的信仰有什么样的关系与影响。

神学课程《歌罗西书研读》

卫理信徒培训学校（油较路卫理公会）与2009年8月18日至2009年9月15日的每星期二8.00pm至9.30pm有歌罗西书研读。

有兴趣参与者请于每星期二7.15pm在各自的校门等候福音车载送。

死海古卷与古代世界展览会 - 新加坡

名为“死海古卷-活着的传奇2009”展览将于8月27日起至9月20日，在新加坡艺术之家（The Art House）举行。这也是死海古卷首次在亚洲国家展出。

展览上，五千年人类文明将通过古物，活生生展现在人们面前。从文体的起源、古泥桌、羊皮纸、纸莎草一直到现代印刷体，让参观者有机会了解文字的发展。

超过100件展出的出土古物，其中最引人瞩目的是五份死海古卷的碎片。这些古卷碎片可说是20世纪最关键的发现，是旧约圣经最早的文稿。同时展出的还有证实圣经的可靠性之古书首稿。

此外，公元前3200-3100年、刻有美索不达米亚象形文字的泥桌，以及含摩西五经的希伯来托拉古卷、古钱币等，也会一一展出。
